Every client relationship begins the same way.

Free Consultation — A 20-30 minute conversation about your home, your schedule, and what isn't working.

Home Assessment — A 90-minute paid session ($95, applied toward your first month's retainer) where we walk through your home together. You show me how things work, where things live, and what matters most to you. This is what separates someone who does tasks from someone who runs your home.

Weekly Visits Begin — Same day, same person, every week. We’ll leave you a note after each visit so you always know what was done.

And you come home to calm.

The Monthly Retainer

The monthly retainer is how your home stops feeling like something you're always behind on.

What we handle:

  • Laundry — all clean laundry folded, and put away according to your preferences. 

  • Kitchen reset — dishwasher loaded and unloaded, counters cleared and wiped, kitchen left ready

  • Bed and linen changes — on your schedule, laundered and returned

  • Fridge and pantry — expired items cleared, low-stock items noted, light organization maintained

  • Mail sorting — action, file, and discard. Boxes broken down and recycled. Packages accepted and put away.

  • Light tidying — common areas reset and ordered between cleaning visits

  • Visit notes — a short summary of what was done and anything worth your attention

Frequency options:

Once weekly, twice weekly, or twice monthly. Most households find once weekly is the right balance. Scope and rate set at consultation.

Pricing:

Once weekly pricing starts at $180 per week, twice monthly starts at $210 per week, and twice weekly pricing starts at $320 per week. All pricing is based on household size and the needs we outline during your Home Assessment.

Home Organizing in Gainesville — The Project Day

For the spaces that need more than maintenance:  a pantry that stopped working, a closet that became a storage unit, a home office buried under six months of accumulated everything. The Project Day is a focused, collaborative session that transforms a space and puts a system in place that holds up.

We work through the space together, establish a system that fits the way your home operates and leave it organized, labeled and functional.

Pricing:

From $75/hour, three-hour minimum. Whole-home project days available at flat rate. Organizational products sourced at cost.

Decluttering Service in Gainesville — The Light Edit

Sometimes the problem is volume, not organization. The Light Edit is a collaborative decluttering session. We work through a space together, make decisions about what stays and what goes and handle the donation run so you don't have to. One carload included.

Clients describe this as unexpectedly emotional and freeing. We approach it with patience, no judgment, and a lot of practical help.

Pricing:

From $75/hour, three-hour minimum. Additional donation runs $35.

The Home Assessment

Before your first monthly retainer visit, we spend 90 minutes in your home together. We walk through every space you want managed. We talk about your routines, preferences, priorities and pet peeves. I learn how you fold t-shirts and where the spare pillowcases live and what you mean by 'the kitchen being ready.'

This is what makes the difference between someone who does tasks and someone who runs your home. The assessment is $95 and is applied in full toward your first month's retainer.

Lighter Home is a household management service, not a deep cleaning service. We maintain, organize, and operate. We don't scrub showers or deep-clean appliances. If your home needs regular cleaning, we'll refer you to one of the excellent cleaners we trust in Gainesville. Many of our clients use both: a cleaner for the deep clean, Lighter Home for everything else. It works beautifully.
